UK films and co-pros in selection
The 76th edition of the Locarno Film Festival takes place from the 2nd to 12th of August 2023.
The official selection features 11 UK films and co-productions, including director Ken Loach's The Old Oak.
UK actor Riz Ahmed was named the recipient of the Excellence Award Davide Campari, to be awarded on the opening night.
Locarno Pro's First Look focus for the 76th edition with be on UK Independent film, in partnership with BFI (British Film Institute).
